Poetry: Murals of She

The power of feminine statements

The event Murals of She, in collaboration with the Yemeni Women Archive, focuses on the power of diaspora women's voices in times of conflict. These voices invisibly color the walls and pages of the city. Particularly in Yemen, but also in the Netherlands, we focus on every woman who, through words, acquires her visual power on paper. Despite repression, intimidation, and enforced silence, they have created their own literary space – a place of resistance, hope, and self-expression.
