For the second consecutive year, we had the pleasure of hosting the Rotterdam Port City Dinner on Tuesday, 19 May, an event organized by the Municipality of Rotterdam and the Port of Rotterdam.Guests were welcomed in our Salon for an aperitif, where they enjoyed a drink of their choice accompanied by a selection of pinchos. They then proceeded to the Ballroom for a three-course dinner, featuring speeches by Carola Schouten, Mayor of Rotterdam, Boudewijn Siemons, CEO of the Port of Rotterdam, and Minister Stientje van Veldhoven.The starter was particularly well received by the guests: Seared tuna | Various tomato preparations | Radish | Granny Smith | Bulgur wheat | Lime, or the vegetarian alternative: Various preparations of tomato | Burrata | Za’atar | Basil | Lime. We were delighted to contribute to such a memorable evening.

From Tuesday, 2 June, necessary maintenance work has been underway on the facade of our monumental building. At the same time, the floors of our Ballroom, Salon, and kitchen on the first floor, are also being renewed. From September onwards, our beautifully renovated Ballroom and Salon will once again be available to book for events.
