Wereldmuseum Rotterdam participates in ‘Orange the World’

From November 25 to December 10, Wereldmuseum Rotterdam will join the global Orange the World campaign, which calls for an end to violence against women and girls. This period is known as the 16 Days of Action, during which buildings around the world are illuminated in orange and activities are organised to raise awareness.

The theme for 2025 is: ‘Safe, everywhere and always’. Violence against women and girls can happen anywhere – on the street, at work, online, on public transport and even at home. With this campaign, we want to show that everyone can contribute to a safe environment.

Together, we are making a statement: violence against women must stop – everywhere and always.
