The exhibition contains work by dozens of artists, fashion designers and photographers, including the Belgian painter James Ensor, Keith Haring, Louise Bourgeois and Inez van Lamsweerde.

Walter Van Beirendonck takes visitors to very different worlds in which the mask plays a role, from traditional use in a range of cultures to the source of inspiration that masks represent in the international art and fashion world.
