SKATELAND X WERELDMUSEUM

In late November 2026, an exhibition about skateboarding will open at Wereldmuseum Rotterdam, in collaboration with The Autry Museum of the American West in Los Angeles, California.

The exhibition is a tribute to the creativity, imagination, and joy of diverse Indigenous artists and skateboard communities from across the American continent—Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Bolivia. Through art, photography, and film, it shows how the global language of skateboarding is used to celebrate Indigenous identity and claim space.
