Rodney comes from Aruba and has celebrated Carnival for as long as he can remember. When he came to the Netherlands he immediately joined in the Rotterdam Summer Carnival. He’s a group leader and designs and makes costumes. All year long he prepares for the huge street parade in the summer. Then Rotterdam goes wild for a day. Everyone dresses up, people make music, dance together and wear absolutely fabulous costumes.
